I am very pleased with the new landscaping and pavers that replaced my front lawn that was very difficult to maintain. Precision landscaping showed up everyday to work, worked a full day and cleaned up the area on a daily basis. When I first met with Art, he had made some recommendations that I had not thought of and am glad they were incorporated into the design. Nydia was the designer and was receptive to plant changes I requested. The pathway and tree illumination adds to the design. I have also been pleased to receive many compliments on the completed project.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend Precision Landscape

I’m extremely happy with how my backyard turned out. Precision Landscape did an excellent job from start to finish.

I made several changes during the project—from the pavers and stone to the landscaping—and they were always accommodating and easy to work with. They listened, made great recommendations, and delivered exactly what I wanted.

The quality of the work is outstanding. Everything was done right, the crew was professional, and they kept the job site clean.

The only thing I noticed was they typically wrapped up around 3:00 each day. At first I wondered why, but after seeing the finished product, I actually respect it. It seemed like they valued taking care of their crew and doing quality work rather than rushing to finish.

I highly recommend Precision Landscape. They transformed my backyard into a space I’m proud of, and I’d definitely hire them again.

Fantastic work with some of the best pricing in san diego. They were very efficient and clean. The work took a few weeks but they always left the area they were working on as clean as they could. Do yourself a favor and call Art if you need some landscaping work done.

Let me start by letting you know that I don’t typically write reviews, as a matter of fact this is my first. But I felt Precision earned the effort on my part to show my appreciation for a job well done.
From start to finish, Precision demonstrated their experience and professionalism. They had a nice information flier at the start of the process that gave me an idea of options and price. Precision was proved to be the best fit for our backyard project design needs. Art was up honest and forthcoming. He exhibited pride in his company, care for the employees and commitment to the customer.
Once we chose Precision, the next step was to create a design. Nydia did a great job working with us to explore possibilities for our final backyard design (pavers, plants, layout etc..). Even with our last-minute changes, Nydia demonstrated patient and support as she helped navigate our final design.
Precision provided detailed plans enabling us to submit to our HOA for approval. They were experienced working through the approval process with the HOA.
Once approved Precision was ready and commenced right away on the project. They were on it every day until the project was complete. I don’t want this review to be too long so I will just say that the quality of their work was evident. Art was there at every major step. Every day Art was there at the start of the day as the crew kicked off. And I was there every day watching progress. The team was experienced and committed to doing a great job. During the process the job site was always kept clean. Even though we agreed on our design, Art was there at all stages and on occasion making suggestions for changes he thought would improve the final look. Art would say “if this were my place, I would do this”. We built confidence in Art’s knowledge and listened to his recommendation. And I’m glad we did.
We are very happy with the final project. We have a yard that we will enjoy for years to come. Precision left a very positive lasting impression on us. I highly recommend Precision. You will be very pleased utilizing their service.

Let me premise this review by saying first that I'm not one to offer glowing reviews just because a contractor did a good job. When you hire a contractor, they should do a good job, that’s what you’re hiring them to do, so high praise should be doled out cautiously. In my experience as a homeowner for over 30 years, the majority of contractors take the opportunity to cut corners and the work reflects that. I did complete landscape renovations at my LA home three times, so I know what goes into a new build or complete renovation from the ground up.

To start, I negotiated with Precision's owner, Art, for a couple weeks after securing four bids on the job. It’s fair to say that there was push-and-pull from both sides which should be expected by any business trying to land a decent project with a new client, to be honest. Ultimately we came to a fair price for everyone and went to work.

Precision was courteous, had good communication and presented a clear contract detailing services to be performed and when installment payments were due as each phase was completed. Again, this is standard for good companies and those who don’t provide this level of professional service should be avoided.

The yard was completely barren and needed to be landscaped to conform with strict HOA rules in a new development. Their design was submitted to the HOA for approval and accepted without any modifications whatsoever. Once work began, it was clear that Precision's employees handle specific parts of the job, from hardscape installers to irrigation specialists to their design team. As they say, quality work is in the details, and you could see that the minute they started the project. Little things like how they meticulously cut pavers to fit perfectly, the banding around the patio, the sloping so the the drains could be placed in the border garden as opposed to in the middle of a small patio. Precision matched our gutter downspouts perfectly in color and style so the extensions into the drains look seamless as they connect underground. Other homes in the neighborhood have glaring white, rectangular downspout connectors attached to round, brown downspouts and they look terrible. Attention to details matters.

Every homeowner should be keenly aware of how the prep work is done with pavers because shoddy prep work means those pavers will end up uneven and sagging in a year or two. Precision compacted, leveled and laid every stone to perfection. They implemented a nice design for the small border garden and installed a two-valve drip irrigation system in a location that is out of the way and will basically be unseen once the BBQ is installed. When a couple of the roses looked droopy and dropped leaves after the plant installation, Precision replaced them.

Every day for the three-week project the crew showed up exactly on time. They took their breaks at the same time daily, worked hard all day, were courteous and friendly, and cleaned the site before leaving each day. We bought them pizzas and snacks several times to show our appreciation for their talent, work ethic and courtesy.

I know this was a long review, but it's important to share the details. To summarize, Precision was not the cheapest and not the most expensive. They were the right people for our job and we’re very happy we chose them.
